The World's Biggest Marble Hunt 10-Year Anniversary is coming, and after 10 years of making marble hunting history, we're going bigger than ever.
For 10 years, the World's Biggest Marble Hunt has turned handmade art marbles into real-world treasure. What started in 2016 grew into a worldwide marble-hiding movement, with epic hunts, major treasure chests, handmade art marbles, and adventures that reached across all 50 states and around the world.
The first major treasure chest was huge. The $45,000 treasure chest was legendary.
Now imagine this: Not one treasure chest. Hundreds. Hidden all over the world.
This is no longer just an idea. This is happening.
Treasure chests are already being planned, artists and hiders are stepping up, and the 10-Year Anniversary is shaping up to become the world's biggest marble event.
This is the invitation.
We are asking marble artists, collectors, hunters, and hiders everywhere to commit to creating and hiding anniversary treasure chests filled with handmade contemporary art marbles.
It's time to go through your art collection. Open the marble cases. Find those special handmade pieces. Create an adventure someone will never forget.
Each official anniversary treasure chest should include at least three handmade art marbles - but the more marbles, the better. Make it exciting. Make it creative. Make it fun. Add extra surprises if you want. Build something people will talk about. Just keep it family-friendly and safe for all ages.
You are also welcome to commit to more than one treasure chest. Hide one, hide two, hide ten - every chest adds to the story, and every hide helps make the 10-year anniversary bigger.
These treasure chests can be hidden anywhere in the world. They do not have to be in your hometown. That's part of the adventure. You are not just hiding marbles - you are creating a real-world treasure hunt.
This is not one large centralized hunt. This is something bigger. This is a worldwide pay-it-forward handmade marble art movement.
Every artist, collector, hunter, and hider can help create the adventure. Every treasure chest becomes part of the 10-year anniversary story. Every clue, every hide, every finder, and every handmade marble helps carry the movement forward.
Once the final count grows, we will release an official announcement to the public and the media telling the world how many anniversary treasure chests will be hidden around the globe - with more being added daily.
We will also invite the public around the world to participate, join the hunt, and help grow the World's Biggest Marble Hunt community even bigger. Through press releases, artist announcements, local media, social media, and community sharing, we are pushing to take this movement viral again.

To keep the anniversary fair and open to as many people as possible, there will be a limit of one anniversary treasure chest find per person, unless you have hidden three or more official anniversary treasure chests. See official rules for full details.

1. A public hunt for a very valuable treasure chest full of
handmade glass art marbles. This treasure will contain hundreds of
valuable handmade art marbles made by famous glass artists. This
amazing collection will be on temporary display at Clarke Historical
Museum in Eureka, California, very soon for the media and the world
to see! More details coming soon!
2. Thousands of individual marbles will be hidden around the
world for everyone to hunt across many different social media groups
Why: Fun, adventure, and treasure! Everyone get your hiding
spots ready and bring out your best marbles!
6/29/22 Update! The
World's Biggest Marble Hunt 158 artist treasure hunt will begin on
July 23rd 11:00 am CST
** This amazing treasure is valued at $45,000 and has
158 beautiful pieces of art! Currently this treasure is at the
Clarke Museum more information about this collection on our website.
** Individual hunters or teams will need to be registered by July
20th noon CST.. Registration begins July 1st. Please list each
member of your team for registration.
** Team size can be up to three people.
These individuals can complete tasks and represent the entire team
at checkpoints or take on tasks that have to be completed for the
hunt. At least one team member will have to travel to each location.
** Individuals or teams hunting for this treasure will not be
allowed to share information or work with other hunters or teams.
This will disqualify you from the entire hunt.
** This hunt takes place in the United States and traveling will be
required. This is a physically active challenge and you will have to
travel and go to real locations and complete tasks such as searching
and hiking to checkpoints.
** Multiple starting points will be located all over the world as
well as the United States. Time delays will be put in place at the
beginning the hunt to make sure things are as even as possible for
international participants.
** You will need a working cell phone that will be capable of taking
video and photos for authenticating locations and checking in on
Facebook or the Facebook app Most checkpoints will require video
footage of yourself or a team member
